Description

Dark pine green velvet makes this early 1970s dagger collar shirt dress perfect for winter and holiday parties! The massive pointy collar and matching French cuffs in cream acetate satin contrast nicely with the dark green rayon velvet. A narrow belt with pearly lucite buckle can be used to cinch the waist if desired. The shift-style dress is unlined except for some taffeta interfacing at the neckline opening. It fastens with a nylon zipper at center back. The dress is designed to have a somewhat loose fit, as reflected in my recommended measurements below. It is most fitted at the shoulders, upper arms, and bust area. In very good condition, freshly dry-cleaned and ready to wear, the dress has 2 small and faint spots, one on each sleeve cuff (see close-up photos). These are unlikely to be noticeable when this true vintage 70s velvet cocktail dress is worn.
