Description
A pair of super-fun deadstock 1950s ladies’ pajamas, this leopard print and bright red flannel set is a great medium size, too! The set includes a high-neck, zip-front tunic top and high-waisted, tapered capri-style pants. The long-sleeved top has a drawstring waist to cinch in as tightly as you please. The tomato-red cotton flannel is trimmed with yellow and black leopard print flannel at the cuffs, turtleneck collar, and the side-slits at the hem. The top’s silhouette is fairly full, given shape by the drawstring. The neckline can be opened in front with the black metal zipper, to wear the collar either up or folded down (shown in my photos both ways). The matching animal print, cotton flannel pant has a high, fitted waistband above legs that are full through the seat, hip, and thigh, then gently taped to just above the ankle (on my tall mannequin). Small pleats below the front waist and darts below the back waist help create an hourglass fit. The pant fastens at the left side seam with black plastic buttons. It has a long rise/dropped crotch, as is typical for pajama pants of this era. The soft, comfy flannel of the pant is also unlined. This true vintage, deadstock 1950s pajama set is in excellent to mint condition, unworn, with no flaws to note. A comfortable-yet-dramatic look for a VLV pajama party, or a 1950s-era film or TV production!

- Waist: 32 inches flat, to fit approx. 31 or smaller.
- Hip: 44 inches flat, to fit very loosely for 41 or smaller.
- Side seam/outseam length: 42.5 inches from waist to hem.
- Inseam length: 30 inches (long rise/dropped crotch, so will be longer when worn).
- Rise: 16.5 inches in front and 17.5 inches in back.
