A lovely LBD, this early 1960s cocktail dress in black rayon crepe is trimmed with a bevy of bows! The large self-fabric bows are sewn onto a grosgrain ribbon base attached the dress. The bows trim encircles the scoop neckline in front, covers the shoulder straps, and extends around and below the low back to cover the hidden nylon zipper closure. (The trim folds back to expose the zipper when needed.) This bombshell-worthy, hourglass-fit 1960s sheath dress has darts to shape the bust, waist and hips. In mid-century wiggle-dress fashion, it has no kick pleat or slit at the skirt hem. The dress is fully lined in black rayon taffeta. This dramatically chic, true vintage cocktail dress is in excellent condition with no issues to note.
