Description
This handknit 1960s cardigan sweater in mid-weight acrylic yarns combines avocado green, gold, camel, and white in a color-blocked design of wide, dog-tooth stripes. The colors are so very 1960s! Homemade and handknit by the original owner, the high-hip-length sweater closes in front with pearly white lucite buttons and is unlined. Ribbed trim finishes the straight hem and three-quarter-length sleeves. The cardigan’s fit was intended to be slightly boxy when worn, but the knit has some stretch (please see range of measurements, below). This versatile vintage cardigan is in excellent condition, with no flaws to note.
