Description
This unusual, squares-patterned atomic fleck navy blue wool 1950s sport coat is the perfect rockabilly-style men’s jacket! It is reminiscent of the 1950s style of the King himself, Elvis. The casually-styled, 2-button sport jacket has large, padded shoulders, medium-width notched lapels, 3 large patch pockets, and a double vent at the back hem. It has fun, rib-patterned buttons closing it in front, plus 3 smaller buttons trimming each sleeve cuff. The jacket is three-quarter-lined: at the upper back and both sides of the front, plus the sleeves. The lining is a navy rayon taffeta with a woven pattern of squares, to match the weave in the wool tweed fabric. Check out the unique weave of the mid-weight wool from the underside as well, where it is left unlined (my last 2 photos). This mid-1950s men’s casual sport jacket is in excellent condition, with no issues to note. Professionally cleaned and ready to wear, this rockabilly-style, true vintage 1950s fleck wool jacket is ready to rock and roll, too!
