Description
These 2 opaque white, milk glass vintage bead necklaces look so lovely layered together that I am selling them as a set. The longer, larger strand of beads dates from the early 1960s and the smaller shorter choker-length beads date from the 1950s. Both have tiny spacer beads in between the round beads. The larger strand of beads closes with a silver-tone metal barrel clasp. The choker strand of beads fastens with a hook and tail closure, which allows its length to be adjusted by 2 inches. Both necklaces are in very good condition, their only issue a bit of hard-to-remove soiling from storage between the beads. This unlikely to be noticed, but could be resolved if you are really determined—I did scrub them already, I promise! The weighty, milky opaque white glass of these vintage beads will feel cool and refreshing on a hot summer day.
- Longer necklace with larger beads: 22.5 inches long, with 1/3-inch diameter beads.
