Description
This 1950s palest pink, sheer nylon panty or tap pant has an elastic high waist and lace-trimmed, wide leg openings. The wide gusset is the only part of the hem not trimmed with scalloped floral lace. The slinky nylon fabric is lightweight quite sheer. The body of the tap pant has almost no give to it, but the waist, a narrow band of elastic sewn onto a channel in the nylon, is quite stretchy. This mid-century pin-up-style panty appears hardly worn if at all, and is labeled a vintage size 8. The high waist is intended to be quite fitted, while the hips, seat, and leg openings are meant to fit loosely. The true vintage, 50s light pink lacy tap pant is in excellent condition, freshly laundered, and with no issues to note.
