Description
This 1950s pale pink nylon tricot panty or tap pant has an elastic high waist and lace-trimmed, wide leg openings. The wide gusset is the only part of the hem not trimmed with lace. The tricot-knit fabric is lightweight and semi-sheer. It has a small amount of give to it, but not a large amount of stretch. However, the waistband, a narrow band of elastic in matching pink sewn onto the nylon, is quite stretchy. This mid-century pin-up-style panty appears hardly worn if at all, and is labeled a vintage size 9. The high waist is intended to be quite fitted, while the hips, seat, and leg openings are meant to fit loosely. The true vintage, 50s pink lacy tap pant is in excellent condition, freshly laundered, and with no issues to note.
