Description
A menswear-focused luxury brand since 1893, A. Sulka & Company was well-known by the mid-20th century as a retailer of beautifully made items such as custom-tailored shirts, silk ties and robes. This square-end, late 1950s or early 60s clip-on bow tie in black striped silk satin would have been worn with a dinner jacket or tuxedo. The tie has a metal base with snap-style clips—no tying necessary! This classic men’s eveningwear accessory by Sulka will add a touch of elegance worn with either a vintage or a modern tuxedo. It is in excellent condition.
