Perfect for day-to-evening wear, this versatile beauty is an early 1950s dress in black cotton featuring rows of black lace trim circling its full, knee-length skirt. The neckline has a charming zigzag design in front and a deep V in back, both trimmed with 3 rows of the same cotton-blend black lace as the skirt. The sleeveless bodice is shaped by darts from bust to waist. Below the fitted waist seam, the skirt flares out from hips to hem in a full (but not circle-skirt-full) silhouette. The plain weave cotton fabric of the dress is unlined. It fastens with a metal zipper at the side seam. In very good condition, this true vintage 1950s dress has a small amount of wash-fade to the black cotton fabric from normal laundering. There are also some scattered repairs to the lace trim that should not be noticeable, where I believe that I caught all of the small pulls in the lace and stabilized them for the future. The cute label reads “Bunny’s Casuals of Miami”.
