Description
This novelty print cotton 1950s blouse features designs inspired by Islamic/Arabian culture, with onion-shaped domes, arched doorways, palm trees and pottery, as well as a horse and rider. The cap-sleeved blouse has a square neckline, and darts at bust and waist to create an hourglass fit. The crisp, lightweight plain-weave cotton is unlined. It is color-blocked in dark orange, yellow, avocado and moss green. The figural designs are darkest navy blue—lightened a bit in my photos to show detail better. Fastening on the left side with a metal zipper, this colorful 1950s novelty print cotton top appears never worn, in excellent to mint condition.
