If you happen to have a sweetheart in Atlantic City NJ, then this darling little locket pin is for you! An example of circa 1940s sweetheart jewelry, these pieces were often romantic gifts from a beloved during wartime. The heart-shaped locket in pale gold-tone metal has a mother-of-pearl inset face hand-painted with tiny flowers and “Atlantic City”. It hangs via a jump ring from a darker gold “Sweetheart” script pin. The back of the locket is engraved as “With Love” from Adam—bonus points if an Adam from Atlantic City gives this as a gift! This circa 1940s heart-shaped locket brooch is in good condition, still very pretty but with some scuffs from age and normal wear. I’m sure its original owner wore it often!
