Description
This unisex, deadstock 1950s or early 1960s bartender’s apron has a novelty print of an old-timey bartender with sleeve garters and a handlebar mustache, ready to shake your cocktail of choice! The design in red, orange, blue and black is screen-printed onto white cotton canvas or duck, a fairly heavyweight and very sturdy fabric. The apron has a fixed loop shoulder strap (non-adjustable) and waist ties that will adjust up to about 36 inches, with plenty or extra to tie in back.
In unworn, very good condition, the apron has several small marks at about waist level, from its long storage (see close-up photos). The apron has not been laundered, but I’d guess these marks will probably not come out, at least not completely, since they have been present for so long. The marks not large, but I have tried to show them clearly, including from the back side of the apron.
This midcentury vintage bartender’s apron would make a great gift for your favorite mixologist!
