Description
This black double-knit polyester fabric 1970s turban or head wrap is the perfect way to deal with a difficult hair day, cover your curlers/set, or accent your favorite vintage loungewear. It would pair well with a caftan or dressing gown, I think! The mid-weight, non-stretchy double-knit fabric is gathered into pleats at center front and back. One side of the turban has a small padded section inside, underneath a flat band of fabric—not sure whether this is supposed to sit at the front or the back, so I have included photos both ways. Unlined, the turban is pretty roomy, with plenty of room for a lot of hair (or curlers) under it. Add a fun brooch at the front of this true vintage turban, for added at-home glamour! It is in excellent condition, freshly laundered and ready to wear.
- Total size of head opening: 24 inches (12 inches pulled flat, then doubled for total circumference).
- Approximate unisex size: M to L (definitely too large for my size 21.5-inch head, or for my mannequin. Could be pinned on, if a bit too roomy.
