This 1920s or early 1930s, deco-era rhinestone and celluloid bangle bracelet could have graced the arm of a fabulous flapper! The embellishments set into the creamy off-white celluloid include sapphire blue rhinestones, tiny black beads, faux pearls, and circles of metal wire. These wire circles are fairly unusual for this type of antique deco bangle—I have not had or seen one with this particular detail before, in 28 years of vintage selling. Some of the wire trim has darkened/tarnished with age making it appear black, but its original color was silver-tone, as can be seen on some of the circles. This tarnish to the wire trim and peeling off of some of the pearls’ iridescent finish are the only issues to note with this 100-year-old bangle bracelet. It is in very good, completely wearable condition. It will fit best for a modern XS to S hand, slipping on fairly easily over my glove size 6.5-7 hand, for reference. See more size info below.
