Description
This pair of deadstock late 1960s or early 1970s men’s low-rise printed denim short shorts is made of a 50-50 blend of cotton and polyester. The groovy pattern on the mid-weight denim is orange, brown, and olive green stripes, with a white, pixelated design. The low waist has 2.5-inch belt loops, perfect for a wide belt. The shorts have 2 patch pockets in front, a snap-front waistband, and a relatively short metal zipper fly. The unworn, mid-weight denim is still crisp and a stiff with its original fabric finish, but should eventually soften up when laundered. They may also shrink slightly when first washed. Originally made and sized as a (young) men’s garment, these hippie-style late 1960s or early 70s true vintage short shorts would also look great on a lady! In excellent to mint condition, unworn, they have no issues to note. I have shown the shorts both hanging from a hanger and on my female mannequin, to try to give a better idea of size and fit.
I have 2 pairs of these shorts in the exact same size and color combo: pair #2 has a slightly different (more olive green) color-pattern of the stripes at the waistband. See last 2 photos to compare. Please choose either pair #1 or pair #2 (or both!) when placing your order.
