Description
Deadstock vintage 1950s short shorts in lipstick red corduroy, these cuffed-hem cuties feature a high “Hollywood” waist, small belt loops, and a tiny, welted watch pocket on the right hip. The inseam in a mere 1.5 inches long—these are truly short shorts! Darts from waist to hips add hourglass shaping in back, above the wide leg openings.
The shorts fasten at center back with a metal zipper. The cotton corduroy fabric is unlined aside from some white rayon (or rayon blend) satin interfacing around the inside of the waist. Labeled a vintage size 26, these women’s 1950s vintage shorts in bright red corduroy are unworn, in excellent to mint condition. My last photo shows the shorts unclipped from the mannequin.
Size: approx. XS-S, with hourglass fit.
- Waist: 27 inches flat, to fit up to 26.
- Hips: 38 inches flat, fit up to 36.
