Description
This deadstock circa late 80s rhinestone butterfly brooch is set with sparkling clear glass stones in heavyweight silver-tone metal. The retro-style pin was made in the 80s, but clearly inspired by rhinestone brooches of the 1940s-50s. (I love the company name: “Yesterday-Today”!) Small dots of silver metal outline all of the butterfly’s edges, and add extra shine. The nice-quality brooch has a wide pinback, which is a good idea, since it is quite heavy for its size. The pin is still on its original card, unworn, in excellent to mint condition.
