Description
This deadstock, Hawaiian tropical floral print rayon 80s romper or one-piece shorts outfit features a short-sleeve bodice and wide-leg, mid-thigh-length shorts. A sash belt cinches the waist for the perfect, comfy fit. The base color in the print is royal blue, with hot pink, aqua, and bright green flowers and leaves. The camp-shirt-style bodice has a single patch pocket and large shoulder pads. There are 2 side seam pockets at the hips. The romper’s fit was intended to be a bit loose as shown, and reflected in my measurements below. It opens down the front from notched collar to hips with metal buttons stamped with the label name: “Dreams”. It’s a great, easy piece to throw on over a swimsuit, or instead of a dress for dinner, for your next beach vacation!
The lightweight plain weave rayon is unlined and will skim over the body with the intended loose fit for approximately a modern size S. The romper might fit up to a size M, but not as loosely as shown. This colorful 1980s one-piece outfit is in excellent to mint condition, unworn with its original price tag still attached.
