Description
A great transitional piece for spring and fall, this super-lightweight polyester crepe dress from the late 70s has a cream and navy floral print that looks like cherry blossoms, to me. The body of the dress is micro-pleated. Along with its comfy elastic waist, this means that it will stretch to fit a variety of measurements. (I have included a range of measurements below, with the dress both laid flat, and stretched up to the maximum reasonable amount.) The wide, bracelet-length sleeves are unpleated, and gathered with elastic at the hems. Navy cord or braid circles the arm openings and trims the tops of the shoulders and the boatneck-style neckline. The semi-sheer fabric is unlined, so you may want a slip underneath.
There are thread belt loops present, but any original belt is missing. The dress has no other issues to note. This feminine, boho-style late 1970s dress is in excellent condition. I think it will pair equally well with flats or sandals for spring, or tights and boots for fall!
