This zip-front, belted 1970s cardigan sweater in a chunky marled wool combines multiple shade of brown: chestnut, tan and taupe. A heavyweight metal zipper fastens the center front of the sweater, and a removable belt (threaded through knit belt loops) cinches the waist. Above the zipper, the cardigan has a wide V neckline and a ribbed collar. More ribbed knit finishes the bracelet-length, straight sleeves, the squared-off hem, and the edges of the zipper. This 70s-does-1930s-40s-sportswear sweater is in excellent condition. It is hand knit and possibly home made. The thick wool knit is unlined.
