Description

This 100% cotton chenille 1960s robe or dressing gown is a vibrant shade of orchid pink-purple. The ribbed cotton pile robe will wrap you up after your bath or shower like a plush cotton towel, only more glamorously! The full-length robe has an internal string tie at the waist, plus a sash belt, both of which allow some adjustment in its fit. The ¾-length dolman sleeves are designed to be cuffed as shown, but they are not sewn down, if you prefer to uncuff them. A small plastic button hidden under the notched collar can be used to close the V-neckline up higher, if you like. The robe has a single large patch pocket at the right hip. It is unlined. In very good to excellent condition, this fluffy and soft, 1960s cotton chenille ladies’ robe has no real issues to note, although I’d guess that it was worn a fair amount by the original owner. The fabulous orchid color takes it from a vintage loungewear staple, to a statement!
