Description
A mid-to-late 1970s jumpsuit in polyester jersey, this wide-leg 1-piece features a tropical palm leaves print in amber, black, cream, and tan. The sleeveless, tank-style bodice has wide straps, a square neckline, and curved seaming to shape the bust above a fitted waist seam with piping trim. The wide, straight legs have relatively short inseams, to wear either cropped, or closer to full-length for a petite-height person. They end above the ankle on my tall mannequin, as shown. The bodice is also a bit short-waisted, which makes me think that the jumpsuit was originally intended for a shorter person (see measurements).
The moderately stretchy polyester knit fabric is unlined. The jumpsuit fastens with a nylon zipper at the center back. In excellent condition, this true vintage 1970s jumpsuit has no issues to note. The neutral, earth-toned colors used for the palm fronds print are so very 70s!
