Description
The perfect gift for a current (or future) pharmacist, these circa 1950s-60s cufflinks feature a mortar and pestle design stamped with “RX” and a Latin phrase associated with the skills needed for pharmaceutical compounding: “Secundum Artem”. The pestle is stamped with the word “Coricidin”, an over-the-counter cold medication introduced in 1949—so the cufflinks were probably a pharma company giveaway item back in the day. (The medication name is quite hard to notice without a magnifier.) These mid-century vintage cufflinks are still quite wearable: the heavyweight brass-colored metal shows a few minor scuffs from normal use, but no other issues.
