Description
These early 1960s pointy-toed pumps in pearlized peach or coral leather were never worn! The toes are trimmed with tiny gold-tone metal studs and bows. The shapely heels are 3 inches high. Both the linings and the soles of these well-made shoes are leather. The unusual color of the textured, pearly-finish leather uppers varies from more pink to more orange in tone, depending on the lighting.
In very good condition, unworn, these darling 1960s high-heeled pumps have 2 minor issues. See close-up photos for details.
- Some faintly visible glue where the soles meet the uppers.
- 2 pinholes, 1 at the back of each heel. This was not done by me, but perhaps the original owner had attached some kind of tag, previously?
Labeled a vintage size 7 ½ AA (with AAAA heels), the shoes are definitely narrow, and will probably fit more like a modern 6 ½ to 7 N. Please check the measurements carefully since vintage shoe sizing is quite different than modern shoe sizing. I’d be happy to provide any extra info needed. These are so pretty that you might consider displaying them, even if they are not your size!
