Description

This marvelously mod, deadstock 1960s blouse features a bold houndstooth print of melon orange and bright pink. The button-front top has a removable tie at the neck, below a round collar. You can tie it as an ascot, a pussy bow, or unbutton it entirely from both sides and wear the blouse without it! The top has a somewhat boxy fit with straight ¾-length sleeves that could be worn cuffed up if you prefer, and a straight hem ending just below the natural waist. Its smallest fit will be at the shoulders and upper arms (see measurements for details). The crisp, lightweight acetate crepe fabric is unlined.

In very good condition, the blouse was never worn, but does have some tiny marks along its fold lines in front from its long storage, as well as a small mark on the right side collar. I have not laundered it, so these may improve after its first washing, although they may not. Both issues are relatively minor, not detracting significantly from the bold colors and print of this mod 1960s top.

Size: labeled a vintage size 36, I’d estimate it will fit as intended (a bit loosely) for approx. a modern size XS to S.
