Description
This nubby wool 2-piece 1950s sweater dress in bright salmon pink has fun textures woven into the surface of the knit: wavy lines on the cardigan and vertical stripes on the skirt. Ribbed trim finishes the elbow-length sleeves and hem of the cardigan sweater, along with its tiny pointed collar. The sweater fastens down the front with fun, square plastic buttons in paler pink—so very mid-century! The matching skirt has an elastic waist and a narrow, tubular shape that will emphasize your curves. The medium-weight, wool knit fabric has moderate stretch to it, and it is unlined, so the set’s size is somewhat flexible, as shown in my measurements below. I’d estimate it will fit best for approximately a modern extra small to small, depending on your preferred snugness level. This 1950s vintage classic will be alluring yet comfortable to wear! It has been carefully hand-washed and is in excellent condition with no flaws to note.

- Length: 19 inches from back of neck to hem when laid flat. May be shorter when worn, as fabric is stretched over body.

- Sleeve width at cuffs: 6 inches flat, up to 9 inches max.
- Shoulder to shoulder: no seams.
SKIRT.
- Waist: 23 inches flat, and stretches up to 28.
- Hip: 30 inches flat, and stretches up to 39 max.
- Length: 29 inches when laid flat. May be shorter when worn, as fabric is stretched over body.
