Description
This shiny black straw wide-brimmed 1950s hat is a sweet “schoolgirl” style with a rounded, shallow crown and a narrow black rayon velvet band and double loop trim at center back. The unwired brim is widest at the center front and side, narrower in back. The crown is curved to fit best at the top of the head, tilted back as shown. It is unlined aside from a black grosgrain ribbon inner band. This elegant 1950s wide brim black straw women’s hat is in excellent condition, with no issues to note. Labeled a vintage size medium, the hat will most likely fit best on a modern small-sized head (see measurements).
