Description
An asymmetrical beret with double tassels trim, this stylish early 1950s hat is made of a lovely and soft black fur felt. Simple enough for everyday wear, the side-tilted beret will also look great paired with a skirt suit or cocktail dress! The crown of the hat stands up a little higher on the front and the left side, above a small pleat. It slouches a bit lower the right side, where the 2 rayon satin thread tassels hang down over the right ear. The back of the hat is the most shallow section, where it is more curved to better hug the back of the head when worn.
The hat is unlined aside from an inner grosgrain ribbon band. This versatile and perfectly chic 1950s black beret hat is in very good condition, with some fraying to the strands of the silky tassels as its only issue.
