Description

This adorable one-piece 1960s swimsuit in black and white striped nylon knit is sporty, yet chic! This deadstock 1960s bathing suit was never worn, with its original tags still attached. The plain black nylon knit of this tank-style bathing suit is accented with a striped V inset into the center front of the scooped neckline. Matching striped fabric covers the 4 decorative buttons at the waist. The cups are lined with nylon foam set into white cotton, with an elastic band below the bust. The gusset is lined with white cotton jersey. Labeled a vintage 14T (a junior or teen size), it is approximately a modern XS petite, but please check the detailed measurements below, for more info about size. There are no fastenings. The suit pulls on, and the straps are not adjustable, although the knit nylon fabric does have moderate stretch to it. In very good, unworn condition, this darling 1960s swimsuit has a bit of yellowing from age/storage to the edges of the white cotton lining surrounding the bust cups. There are no other issues to note.

Size: XS, probably best for petite.
