Description
This set of 5 circa 1930s blue glass and rhinestone rondelle trims were used as decorative additions on something made of blue velvet, originally. (There were traces of blue thread and velvet fabric caught in the rondelles, when I found them.) Each individual piece has 7 rondelles in brass-colored base metal, channel-set with clear glass stones. They are finished at each end with translucent blue glass beads, probably Czech glass. You can sew them onto a newly-made, vintage-inspired project, or use them to trim a vintage dress, hat, bag--or whatever you choose! The set of 5 is in very good, near excellent condition, with some minor variation in color/tarnish to the metal settings of the rondelles, from age. Use these true vintage 1930s trims to add Art Deco glamor to your next sewing project. They would be lovely added to a wedding gown or bridal accessory: something old and something blue, all in one!
