This ice blue rayon, late 1950s or early 1960s men’s sport shirt is a licensed piece by designer Schiaparelli. The deadstock, unworn short-sleeved shirt still has the cardboard insert underneath its loop collar. The shirt has 2 patch pockets, and fastens in front with Schiaparelli signature “S” buttons in pearly white plastic. There are side slits at the straight/squared hem, and the sleeve hems are also notched/slit. The pale blue-grey, lightweight rayon fabric has a subtle, horizontally slubbed texture, and it is still quite crisp, with its original fabric finish. This deadstock vintage Schiaparelli 1960s men’s sport shirt is a classic mid-century style, in excellent to mint condition.
