A large, gathered green tulle “flower” adorns the front of this bright green straw 1940s hat. The crown has a flat top and straight sides, similar to a traditional boater hat, but with a narrower brim, widest at the center front. A band of green rayon velvet ribbon circles the crown. The crown is shallow, so the hat can either be worn at the back of the head as shown, or tilted forward if you prefer. In very good condition, this fun 1940s green straw hat has some minor discoloration to the inner grosgrain band from makeup, and I believe that the tulle trim may have faded somewhat, with age. It will add a fabulous pop of color to your favorite outfit!
