This dark chocolate brown leather 1950s-60s structured, top handle frame handbag is quite large for the era--perfectly able to fit all of your modern necessities! The smooth brown leather is accented with bright gold-tone hardware on the hinged clasp and short strap. The metal frame is completely covered in the same leather, giving the bag a clean look of chic simplicity. The bag’s boxy shape is softened by its rounded corners. The flat base has 4 metal feet for better stability. Inside, the handbag has a gorgeous, camel tan leather lining, with 1 zip and 2 slip pockets. It is stamped “Saks Fifth Avenue - Made in France”. In very good condition, this lovely, late 1950s or early 60s frame handbag has a few minor scuffs to the leather from normal use, as you can see in my close-up photos. The top handle appears sturdy, and this vintage mid-century bag should have many years of use left, with proper care.
