This dark chocolate brown velvet 1950s hat with veil has an adorable spiral design on the left side, trimmed with a pearl and rhinestone “flower”. The concave crown is intended to frame the face and hug the top of the head, as shown. It comes to a point at the center back. The brown rayon velvet crown is backed with what feels like rayon taffeta, with grosgrain ribbon trimming its inner edges. This true vintage, 1950s veiled cocktail hat is in excellent condition.
