Cream and black checked wool is the perfectly mod fabric choice for this mid 1960s “newsboy” hat or bubble-crowned cap with front brim, by Adolfo. The lightweight checked wool is accented with a shiny black “wet look”-finish, acetate fabric band and front bow. The rounded, bubble crown stands high above the head when worn, as shown, with a decorative button where the pointed panels meet, at the its center top. The hat is lined with black rayon taffeta, and has a grosgrain inner band. In very good, near excellent condition, the only issue to note with the hat is some slight yellowing to the Adolfo label. This marvelously mod 1960s hat is a casual and versatile, youthful style—easy to wear with a variety of looks already in your closet!
