Description
These late 1950s or early 1960s pearl-beaded gloves are made of creamy ivory nylon with a bit of stretch to it for comfort. The glove hem ends at about mid-forearm, several inches below the wrist. The upper side of the gloves is trimmed with tiny off-white glass seed beads which become more numerous as they reach the hem. A triangular section of more dense beading at the hem is accented with larger, cream pearl beads. The true vintage pearl-trimmed gloves are labeled a size 7, or around a modern S. I have included 2 photos with the gloves on my size 7 hands for reference: they fit me well. In very good condition, the creamy off-white or ivory-colored gloves are a little bit yellowed uniformly/all over from their long storage, but have no other issues to note.
I do have a very similar pair (G68) available in a slightly smaller size (6.5), and a slightly different color (more off-white than cream), listed here. See my last photo for a color comparison.
