A dayglo floral print late 1960s caftan dress that is as visually striking as it is comfy to wear? That’s a win-win! The dress bodice features a deeply scooped neckline, elbow-length bell sleeves, and an attached sash that ties in back to cinch the waist for a comfortable, adjustable fit. The full-length skirt is flared from hips to hem. The groovy floral-patterned, barkcloth-textured cotton and acetate blend fabric is lightweight and unlined. The dress has no fastenings other than the tie belt, pulling on over the head. I have shown the dress untied in the last photo, to give a better idea of its size and shape when loose. I am guessing it will fit approximately a modern size M, but please check the measurements for more details about fit. In excellent condition with no flaws to note, this late 1960s or very early 70s maxi dress or caftan can be dressed up or down. It will be easy to wear from brunch, to the farmer’s market, to an evening out. And, it will almost certainly glow in a black light!
