This sparkly gold lurex, hourglass-shaped 1950s cocktail dress has beautifully draped panels adorning the front of its cap sleeve bodice and narrow skirt. The bodice is fitted underneath the extra layer of draped fabric, with a wide square neckline. The dress has a V-shaped waist seam in back. It has no kick pleat or slit at the hem of the skirt—a true 1950s “wiggle dress”. Fastening with metal zipper in back, the dress is lined with peach acetate taffeta.
