A sassy pheasant feather trims the pointed crown of this darling 1950s pixie hat. The tall crown comes to a center point and is designed to tilt to the right when worn, as shown. The fur felt is an unusual color between mocha and charcoal grey that reads as very dark brown. A tiny, burnt sienna-colored “brim” finishes the front edge and frames the face. The end of the down-pointing feather is covered with a small spring of matching dark brown felt, like the “stem” on a beret. The manufacturer’s label has been removed, leaving only the original owner’s nametag inside. In very good, near excellent condition, this 1950s pixie-style beret hat has no flaws to note, other than a bit of disarrangement to the edges of the feather from storage.
