Description
This easy-care, easy-to-wear, late 1960s to early 70s shift dress is made of textured double-knit polyester in a fun geometric pattern of bright green squares on a white background. The short-sleeved bodice has a round neckline and diagonal darts from bust to hips, for subtle shaping. Below the hip, the dress flares out gently to the above-the-knee hem. The matching fabric sash belt can be tied to cinch the waist, if you like. The dress is unlined and fastens with a nylon zipper at the center back.
The double-knit fabric has a bit of stretch to it (see measurements). In excellent condition, the dress has no issues to note. It was home sewn. I have another, blue and white dots version of this dress in the same style, sewn from the same pattern by the original owner.
