Description
This deadstock/unworn cream lace 1960s strapless bra by Jantzen features the cutest paper hangtag shaped like a masquerade mask, from their 1960s ad campaign “Who rules the Underworld?” The bra is quite well padded in the underwire cups. Although it is labeled a 34B, it will certainly give you at least an extra cup size, when worn. (It does technically fit just fine on a modern size 34B, but may actually fit a better on a modern 34A, to avoid any cup overflow from the padding!) The creamy white sheer nylon lace front of the bra is lined with nylon tricot over the padding, inside the cups. The cream stretch mesh back of the bra is a blend of acetate, polyester, and rubber. It fastens with a double set of hooks and eyes to adjust fit slightly. The strapless bra comes with optional grosgrain ribbon shoulder straps to add if you like, still in their original packaging. This true vintage, mid-1960s cream lace underwire bra is in excellent to mint condition, with no flaws to note.
