Description

Designed by that Italian master of mid-20th century prints, Emilio Pucci, this late 1960s or early 70s silk Pucci necktie features a groovy geometric pattern of overlapping circles and small triangles in melon, peach, candy pink, mocha, plus medium and dark browns. You can see the “Emilio” signature on the silk twill fabric in my close-up photos. The tie is lined with peachy-pink silk taffeta, also with the “Emilio” signature woven into it.

This psychedelic-yet-elegant circa 1960s-70s designer tie by Pucci is in excellent condition, possibly unworn, with no flaws to note. The hand-finished white stitching on the back had one loose stitch when my photos were taken, which has since been fixed/tightened. It is slightly shorter than a typical modern tie (see measurements below), and 3.5 inches wide.

  • Total length from end to end: 52.75 inches.
  • Width at widest: 3.5 inches.
  • Width at narrow end: 2 inches.
  • Label: Emilio Pucci Florence, Made in Italy, 100% Pure Silk. Also Marshall Field & Company store label.
