Description
This marvelously mod, sleeveless 1960s minidress in black cotton piqué is trimmed with white piqué at the high, round neckline and arm openings. 3 white piqué circles adorn the dress front: 2 are cutouts and 1 (the largest/lowest circle) is filled in with black fabric. The dress has diagonal bust darts for slight shaping at the bodice, but the shift style is intended for a loose fit overall. There are vertical darts on the back of the bodice, from mid-back to high hip. The dress shape is relatively straight from bust to hips, but flares out a bit more from hips to hem, which ends at mid-thigh. The cotton fabric is unlined. The dress fastens in back with metal zipper. It is in excellent condition. This is the most perfect example of mod style that I’ve ever had, in 28 years of selling true vintage—snap it up, if that’s your thing!
