Description
This 2-tone 80s shift dress has a unique design with a zigzag seam down its front and a harlequin-style color-blocked cowl neck collar. The bright icy pink and pale khaki tan fabrics are made of the same lightweight slub-textured cotton and polyester blend, intended to feel similar to raw silk, I believe. The back of the dress is solid pink except for the cuffs on the dolman cap sleeves and the back of the collar. 3 large white plastic decorative buttons trim the zigzag front seam. A single button and loop hidden under the back of the collar is the only closure, so the dress will need to fit loosely enough to pull on over the head. It is unlined. With an overall boxy shape, the dress tapers just slightly from hips to hem, with a single slit at the left side hem. In very good condition, it has a faint dark line down the back of the left sleeve as its only issue to note (see close-up photo). This true vintage New Wave era dress is channeling a mod 1960s vibe through an 1980s lens!
