This pink and white stripe, blue floral sprigged, late 1930s-early 1940s nightgown and bed jacket set is made of soft cotton flannel, to keep you cozy and warm on chilly nights! The full-length, bias-cut nightgown has slightly puffed short sleeves, and small gathers at the curved seam under the bust in front. An attached sash cinches the waist by tying in back. The matching bed jacket is not bias cut, as you can see by the fact that the fabric stripes are vertical, rather than diagonal. It has bracelet-length sleeves that are puffed/gathered at the shoulders, a pointed collar, 2 patch pockets, and white plastic buttons fastening it in front. The shoulder yoke in front has small gathers below it, to allow some extra room at the jacket bust. The bed jacket is slightly flared from bust to hem, for a somewhat loose fit. This 1930s-40s flannel nightgown set is in excellent condition, with no flaws to note.
