Description
These deadstock 1950s men’s black sheer nylon and cotton dress socks were never worn. The sheer knit nylon mesh upper section and the opaque cotton knit toe, foot, and heel provide the perfect mix of comfort and evening-wear elegance! Although never worn and in excellent condition, these true vintage socks are only very slightly stretchy, unlike modern socks. Please note the measurements carefully.
The socks are labeled a size 11 ½. Early 1950s and older cotton, wool, and early synthetic socks were sized directly by the length of the foot bed in inches (e.g., size 11 1/2 means an 11.5-inch max. foot length). See measurements, below.
