Description
This atomic style, late 1950s or early 1960s tie clip is made of silvertone metal with a brushed, textured surface. Its elegant, curved shape narrows towards the center, and is widest at each flattened, half-circular end (like a slice taken out of each end!). The back of the clip is stamped “Hickok USA”.
In excellent condition with some very slight scuffs to its shiny ends from normal wear, this 1950s-60s tie clip or tie bar is a perfect example of streamlined, midcentury modern design! I estimate that it will be best for a medium-width or skinny tie, based on its length (see measurements).
