Description
This late 1950s or early 1960s tie clip by Renoir is made of solid copper, plated with their proprietary finish to avoid tarnishing. The tie clip has a three-dimensional, open square design at its center—so mid-century modern!
It is in very good condition with some very scuffs to its shiny surface from normal wear. I estimate that it will be best for a medium-width or skinny tie, based on its length (see measurements). This signed Renoir copper 1950s-60s tie clip or tie bar is a great example of 50s-era design.
- Size: 1.5 inches long from end to end and .25 inches wide at body of clip.
- Square design: .5 by .5 inches.
- Label: Renoir with copyright mark, dating it from 1955-1964.
