Description
This 1950s copper cuff bracelet by Renoir has a wavy pattern reminiscent of stylized leaves or vines. I love the bracelet’s organic form meets space-age, modernist design--very typical of vintage 1950s Renoir jewelry. The relatively heavy-weight cuff is made of polished solid copper, with a bright, shiny finish on its outer side. The inner side has a more matte finish. It is signed “Renoir” with a copyright mark, dating it to after 1954. The bracelet is in very good, near excellent condition, with some very light scratches to the shiny copper surface from normal wear. The cuff is bendable with care, to adjust its fit.
- Length: 5.25 inches measured along inside of cuff (or 5.75 inches along its outer side).
